Our Story

In 2001, Essie and Johnny Ocampo took a huge leap of faith; they started a business. It was an industrial insulation business (then called TPIS Insulation Services) and after 14 years it generates a few million in revenue. More importantly to the team though, TPIS provides a good living for 60 employees and their families, many of whom are family members and all of whom are friends. They are happy to have been able to serve in this industry and have been Blessed to work with some fantastic companies and people. They built their company on a fundamental notion of providing quality services around the clock for their customers and making safety their highest priority.

Essie is one of the two original founders of the company. Essie worked hand in hand with Johnny on coming up with the company name, along with many other startup hurdles she helped jump. She is the genius behind our company logo (the clock) with the words “We work around the clock” actually going around the clock. Essie has been with the business since its start in 2001. Aside from her current duties as President, Essie oversees the Payroll, Accounts Payables and other accounts.

Johnny is the other original founder of the company. Johnny has had over 18 years in the industry. His previous experience was primarily with Insulation Blanket specifications and designing along with Electric Heat Trace Design and installation. He worked at a manufacturing facility designing and installing heat trace systems and insulation, and in the field as a startup/troubleshooter field repair technician. Currently Johnny serves as the Vice President and has been focusing his time and energy on Business Development and the future service offerings of the company.

Oscar has been with the company from the first day of operations, he has worked his way to becoming the General Manager. He is responsible for Scheduling, Collaborating with Customers, Budgeting and Planning for the Office and Field. He also manages and trains management staff along with other aspects of the Business.
